Well for as good as Vegas is, Colorado in my opinion is better. The speed in which this
Avalanche team can play is second to none between Makar, MacKinnon and now Necas.
There was not one line where you could argue the Bruins had a favorable matchup and it
showed. They were outplayed embarrassingly in this game. For all the shit that the Boston
media will inevitably give Swayman after every bad game he plays, a game like this will be
forgotten. The only redeeming quality of the Bruins was the play of their goaltender who
fought like hell to give them a chance. In the second period the Zamboni didn’t have to
clear the Bruins offensive zone, they were never there, only registering two shots for the
period and only 14 for the game. For as poor of a game as it was, Hampus Lindholm
returned to the lineup, which is a very key piece for the Bruins. He looked uneasy, unsettled and disorganized, to be expected as he’s only played 19 games in the last year. Credit to
McAvoy who I mentioned will need to factor into the offense more, setting up Johnny
Beecher on a great goal. Beecher looked quite good in this one, something to monitor as
Sturm continues to work different guys through that 4th line.
