In Patriots world, the team continues to improve week after week. This Titans team is not
good, and coming off just firing their head coach, but it’s important for the Patriots to come
in each week prepared and handle business efficiently and effectively and they did just
that. Drake Maye sets a Patriots franchise record going 21-23 passing for 222 yards and 2
TDs. In watching other games in the later window, Maye’s performance as of late becomes
even more impressive. His decision-making quickness, and accuracy just carry momentum
for this offense. He’s getting good protection up front, the scheme McDaniels is running
seems to work well, and they are going to be near impossible to beat when you add in a
solid run game performance. The defense made great adjustments early and were stout in
the second half. Outside of Maye the team MVP is going to close, personal, friend of Eric
Carter, Marcus Jones, who has just been everywhere on defense and special teams this
season. You can see the belief this team is starting to come to the stadium with each week
and boy has it made Sunday’s fun again!
