The Ottawa game just seemed to escape the Bruins a bit. This was another game in which I
thought they could take points away but just didn’t seem to have the last push needed to
get it to overtime. I will say Khustidinov, Steeves and Viel have all played well in their new
roles with the injuries the team has faced in the last couple weeks. Additionally, Mason
Lohrei has been a greatly improved player since his healthy scratch stint at the beginning of
this winning streak, which is hugely important moving forward.
